Terms of Service

Athlete profiles are for youth athletes ages 5–19. If the athlete is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide their name and email and consent before the profile is public. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor’s use of the account and for the information entered about the child.

You must give an email address you can confirm. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping the password private.

Family accounts use an email and a password of at least 10 characters. We reject passwords that have appeared in known breaches when that check is available. You must open the confirmation link before you can log in. Password reset links expire after one hour and work once. You can change the password and sign out other sessions from account settings.

Sponsor sign-up can be an email and a first name. We email a one-time sign-in link. You may also set a password later. Marketing email is optional.

You keep ownership of the photos and text you submit. You give SportsHero, Technologies, Inc. a license to host, crop, store, display, print, and send those materials to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy so we can make the card, show the profile, and fulfill orders you place.

You promise that you have the rights to the photo, that you have permission from anyone pictured, and that a parent or guardian has consented when the person pictured is under 18.

Portrait styles may be generated by OpenAI from the uploaded photo, or by local filters if that service is off or the call fails. For a minor, we do not send the photo to OpenAI until parent consent is stored. AI images can be wrong or odd. They are not a promise of likeness. You are responsible for reviewing the card before you publish it or order prints.

Do not use the site to break the law, harass anyone, upload a photo you have no right to use, impersonate another athlete, or probe or disrupt the service. We may remove content or close an account that breaks these terms.

Sponsorships and wishlist gifts are the amount you choose. Printed packs, when available, are optional. The price and a separate shipping charge are shown at checkout. When printed packs are available and Stripe is enabled, you pay in Stripe Checkout, which can offer cards and wallets and collects a US shipping address for packs. We record the order, gift, or giveaway entries only after payment is confirmed. A canceled or failed payment is not counted. Printed trading cards are coming soon. Until then, download the digital card.

Without a Stripe key, checkout is a practice run on our site and no card is charged.

When printed cards are available, they are queued for a print partner. The current build keeps a Printful placeholder and does not send the job to a printer yet. [REFUNDS POLICY].

Giveaways are run under the Official Rules. If these terms and the rules disagree about a giveaway, the rules control.

The SportsHero name, logos, and the site design belong to SportsHero, Technologies, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy the brand or the site except as needed to use the service. Athlete cards you download are for personal use and for sharing that athlete’s profile.

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a card, a payment, an email, or a printed order will be error-free or on time. [LIMITATION OF LIABILITY]. Some places do not allow liability limits.

You will indemnify SportsHero, Technologies, Inc. against claims that come from your content, your misuse of the site, or your breach of these terms, including a claim that you did not have rights to a photo.

You may stop using the site and ask us to delete the profile you control. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that we must close to comply with law.

[DISPUTE RESOLUTION]. These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW]. SportsHero, Technologies, Inc. is a Delaware corporation. Courts in [VENUE] are the place for disputes, unless the law requires another place.

We may update these terms by posting a new version and changing the date above. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms.
